Why PMEA?

Innovation is accelerating, butimplementation is not

PMEA exists to close the implementation gap — without widening the equity gap.

Precision medicine
is advancing.

But implementation
remains unequal.

Our approach

Countries define the need

PMEA helps mobilise the ecosystem required to address it.

Four interconnected areas of action

Mobilising the ecosystem across the full implementation environment.

01

Policy, Governance, Regulation & Global Cooperation

Supporting enabling policy, governance, ethical and regulatory environments.

02

Country Readiness & Implementation Enablement

Turning national priorities into practical, locally owned implementation pathways.

03

Equity, Participation, Access & Sustainable Financing

Embedding lived experience, affordability and sustainable access from the outset.

04

Evidence & Implementation Learning

Generating practical intelligence, enabling capacity and advancing cross-country learning.

Partnerships connect all four areas. PMEA mobilises the expertise, institutions and implementation capacity required to respond to country-defined priorities.

How country engagement works

A six-stage pathway shaped by national priorities.

Governments retain ownership. PMEA helps connect evidence, expertise, participation and sustainability from request through follow-up.
